PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency of an output shaft yoke and axial positioning accuracy of the output shaft yoke with the output shaft. SOLUTION: There is provided an universal joint where an input shaft yoke 12 and an output shaft yoke 14, that are fastened and fixed respectively to each of opposed end portions of the input shaft 11 and output shaft 13, are coupled via a crisscross shaft 15 in a freely rotatable manner. The output shaft yoke is formed of a thin steel material by pressure molding, and four arc-shaped projections 28 are provided in a protruding manner at uniformly spaced circumferential positions of a fastening surface 24d side of a yoke body 24 by embossing at the time of pressure molding. When the output shaft and the yoke thereof are fastened, each of the projections 28 is inserted into circular grooves 20 of the output shaft yoke to perform axial positioning of the output shaft and the yoke thereof.
