PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate working by detaching a gangway footplate in cleaning or inspection maintenance working in a lower space of the gangway footplate. SOLUTION: A horizontal shaft 12 and a slipping-off prevention means 17 positioned on a front side of the horizontal shaft 12 and having a prescribed gap d are fixed on a member 1 attaching the gangway footplate 8 respectively. An U-shaped gangway footplate bearing 14 whose rear part is opened is fixed on the lower face of a base part side of the gangway footplate 8, and rotatably fitted on the horizontal shaft 12, which is centered to vertically and turnably provide the gangway footplate 8. The gangway footplate bearing 14 is locked on the horizontal shaft 12 and the slipping-off prevention means 17 in the state that the gangway footplate 8 is in a substantially horizontal posture, slipping-off of the gangway footplate 8 is blocked, and the gangway footplate bearing 14 is slipped off from the horizontal shaft 12 by lifting the gangway footplate 8 upward in the state that it is turned in a prescribed amount upward.
