PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate removing without a tool a spring piece in an accommodating part from the inside of a used-up staple magazine, which leads to easy separation disposal and collection. SOLUTION: The staple cartridge comprises a cartridge body 6 forming an accommodating part 10 for accommodating a number of staples, the staples 7 accommodated in the accommodating part 10, a spring piece 8 for thrusting the staples 7 to one side of the accommodating part and a cover 9 for closing an opening of the accommodating part 10, wherein thin grooves 15 and 16 making the staple cartridge 4 center-foldable to the cartridge body 6 and the cover 9 are formed around the accommodating part 10.
