SEMICONDUCTOR TYPE DETECTOR AND ITS OUTPUT CALCULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor type detector of simple arrangement in which the output is substantially not dependent on the humidity and accurate concentration information can be obtained. SOLUTION: The semiconductor type detector comprises a semiconductor type gas detecting element 1, a section 2 for storing a reference output table indicative of gas concentration dependency of a reference output value produced by adding the absolute output and the relative output in a reference humidity environment at a specified ratio, a gas detecting section 3 for detecting the absolute output and the relative output of a gas being detected, an operating section 4 for determining the concentration output of a gas being detected with reference to the reference output table based on the absolute output and the relative output thereof, and a section 5 for delivering an alarm sound when a decision is made based on the reference output table that the concentration output of a gas being detected exceeds the output for a gas containing the gas being detected at a concentration requiring to be alarmed.
