An anaesthetic gas filter (2), devised for connection to an anaesthetic machine, for absorbing/adsorbing anaesthetic gas, is described. One problem with these filters is to determine when they need replacement without the leakage of any anaesthetic gas. This is solved with the anaesthetic gas filter according to the invention when an anaesthetic gas detector (22, 22B) is arranged in the filter. An early indication of the need to replace the filter is then provided. <IMAGE> |
