METHOD OF SEARCHING MATERIAL INHIBITING DEDIFFERENTIATION OF CANCER CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of searching a material inhibiting the dedifferentiation of a cancer cell. SOLUTION: This method comprises (1) reacting a mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase (MAPKAP kinase) with a matrix protein and ATP in the presence or absence of a test substance, and (2) measuring the degree of the decrease of a matrix protein-phosphorylation activity of the MAPKAP kinase in the presence of the test substance based on the matrix protein-phosphorylation activity of the MAPKAP kinase in the absence of the test substance.
