PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divert the equidistantly arranged laser devices to the non- equidistantly arranged ones by dividing plural working grid frequencies into at least two groups which hold at least an unused grid frequency between them on a frequency axis and then keeping the difference within a prescribed range between every optical carrier frequency and its corresponding working grid frequency. SOLUTION: When the frequency of optical carriers are non-equidistantly arranged, these carriers are arranged at the positions which are shifted from the grid frequency fi (i: a natural number) which are equidistantly arranged with a prescribed frequency difference by an extent equal to the least frequency difference Δf that is decided by the degrees of stability of frequency of the optical carriers, etc. An example shows seven waves which are non-equidistantly arranged with shift kept within ±1 multiple against the grid frequency. Thus, seven waves f1 , f2 +Δf, f3 -Δf, (no use of f4 ) f5 -Δf, f6 -Δf, f7 +Δf and f8 are never overlapping the position of the 4-light wave mixture light and accordingly no beat noise is produced. |
