PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a boundary between an overlapping part and a non-overlapping part is conspicuous in a ultrasonic diagnostic equipment in which a plurality of scanning areas are synthesized by overlapping. SOLUTION: In the case of synthesizing a scanning area 20 of an odd- numbered frame and a scanning area of an even-numbered frame, in a left synthesized area 100 and a right synthesized area 103 adjacent to the non- overlapping parts 44, 46 in an overlapping part 42, the addition ratio of echo data of both frames is smoothly changed according to the horizontal distance from boundaries 50, 52. For example, in the left synthesized area 100 adjacent to the non-overlapping part 44 of the odd-numbered frame, at a pixel B on the boundary 50, the odd-numbered frame is added by weighting of 1 and the even-numbered frame is added by weighting of 0. With the horizontal scanning, the weighting of the odd-numbered frame can be reduced, and on the other hand, weighting of the even-numbered frame is increased. At a pixel C at the right end of the left side synthesized area 100, the odd-numbered frame and the even-numbered frames are both added by weighting of 0.5. |
