PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the applicable range of a sandal by easing attaching and detaching a sandal band. SOLUTION: A strap is fixed on a normal sandal base or sandal sole at two or several places. A band for a vamp/clamp is put through gaps made between the sandal sole and the strap and the strap is hooked. This sandal can be hanged by the strap. When the band is put through the gap between the sandal sole and the strap, the band is folded in the opposite direction. An end of the band, which is attached to a user's foot by lessening the gap between the band and the user's foot as much as possible, is faced or superposed with an end of the similar opposite side band and fastened with a fastener like a hook or the like. By doing this, the band is used as a vamp/clamp and a sufficient fastening force is obtained. Therefore, a sandal fitting user's foot can be obtained.
