PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type dust collecting filter device connected to a suction apparatus and collecting dust by bringing suction air including dust into contact with dust collecting water, which can prevent the intrusion of a splash into an exhaust circuit, even though the suction air causes reflux in the dust collecting water in an annular water storage portion and water level outside the returning dust collecting water is raised to cause the splash at the periphery of the raised water. SOLUTION: The suction air including dust discharged through a suction port 6 from an exhaust port 7 along the outer peripheral wall of a water pan 1 makes contact with a dust collecting liquid at the bottom part of the water pan 1 to collect the dust. Thereafter, the suction air is sucked from a suction system through the exhaust port 7 and a suction hose 16 for a suction apparatus of a vacuum cleaner or the like. The rise of the water level with the reflux of the dust collecting liquid is restrained by an inner cover 2 and a cylindrical pipe 3, so that the splash is not sucked into the suction apparatus.
