<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caloric balance totaling system for supporting practice of personal diet and exercise remedy by application of personal portable information terminal such as a cellular phone or PDA. SOLUTION: This caloric balance calculating system is provided with a means formed by a portable information terminal capable of data communicating with an external device for integrating intake caloric value of every designated period according to data related to the intake calorie, a means for integrating the consumption caloric value of every designated period according to the data related to the consumption calorie, a means for setting and storing consumption caloric value by basal metabolism, a weight change/calorie balance difference converting means for recording the periodically measured weights and calculating a caloric value corresponding to a difference of caloric balance according to the weight fluctuation in each period, and a means for comparing the intake caloric value of each period and a caloric value obtained by adding the basal metabolism consumption caloric value to the consumption caloric value of each period with the caloric value calculated by a weight change/caloric balance difference converting means, expressing the same in time series and outputting the same.</p> |
