PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for swingingly energizing the top side of the arm for holding a fishing rod upward corresponding to large fishes and giant fishes. SOLUTION: The bottom wall of a fitting frame is secured to be relaxed on the upper surface of a crimping body fixed on the side of a boat. The base end of the arm is rotatively set at the raising part of a clamp frame. The base end of an extensibility-imparting means such as a gas cylinder or the like the top of which is pivoted on the lower surface of the top of the arm is installed on the base end side of the fitting frame. The base end is pivoted with a link rod and a screw rod head screwed to a butterfly nut with a flange. The position of the pivoted part is adjusted in upward or downward directions by the butterfly nut with the flange to adjust upward swinging force of the arm to correspond to pulling forces of various large fishes. Therefore, a sufficient fishing operation is carried out without consuming arm power and stamina.
