Prodn. of flocked products by the use of textured synthetic fibres cut from crimped thread cables as the flocking material. - Flocked products of excellent quality are obtained. The fibres pref. have a staple length of 1-6mm, and thicknesses of 3.5-20 den. The flocked products such as floor coverings, obtained with the textured synthetic fibres have fewer faults, improved flex strength, and improved abrasion existance.
