PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguisher capable of switching straight discharge of water and spraying discharge, discharging a sufficiently large amount of water in the case of straight discharge and performing effective spraying discharge with sufficient pressure in the case of spray discharge. SOLUTION: Within a fire hose 16 which can be folded flatly, a high-pressure hose 17 which can be folded flatly as well and resists higher pressure than the fire hose 16 is put through to make a hose 15. The rear end of the fire hose 16 is connected to a pump 11 capable of feeding a large quantity of water with low-pressure and the rear end of the high-pressure hose 17 is connected to a pump 11 capable of feeding a small quantity of water with high-pressure. A discharge nozzle 18 having a straight discharge nozzle tip 19 and a spray discharge nozzle tip 20 is connected to the tip of the hose 15. The high-pressure hose 17 is connected to the spray discharge nozzle tip 20, and the fire hose 16 outside the high-pressure hose 17 is connected to the straight discharge nozzle tip 19. These nozzle tips 19 and 20 can be switched.
