MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE INCLUDING ANTENNA ARRAY AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A mobile communication device including an antenna array and a method therefor are provided to minimize the influence of fading, interference, and noise and maximize transmission throughput by feeding back information according to a downlink characteristic of an antenna-classified space channel between an MS(Mobile Station) to a base station. CONSTITUTION: The first to Xth MSs(20-24) measure a downlink characteristic of an antenna-classified channel from a signal transmitted from a base station(10), determine information in which a correlation characteristic of the antenna-classified channel is considered based on the measured downlink characteristic, convert information into a feedback signal, and transmit the feedback signal to the base station(10). The base station(10) receives the feedback signal, recovers information from the feedback signal, performs a basis mapping and a basis conversion of a dedicated physical channel signal by using recovered information, adds the converted result to pilot channel signals, and transmits the added result to the MSs(20-24). Each of the MSs(20-24) and the base station(10) has an antenna array.
