PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transducer using no complicated circuit nor drive, placing no limitation on the shape of a piezoelectric element, and improving receiving sensitivity, and hardly detecting a noise signal, that is, having a high S/N ratio, and a pulse wave detecting device sing the piezoelectric transducer. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric transducer has at least the piezoelectric element (hereinafter; a piezo electric element for transmission) for transmitting ultrasonic wave to the inside of a measured object according to an input driving signal, and the piezoelectric element (hereinafter; a piezo element for receiving) for receiving reflected wave of ultrasonic wave, which is reflected by the interior of an organism. A lens layer having a focal point on a gap between the element for transmission and the element for receiving is provided.
