PURPOSE: A method for learning language using an image display device having a screen protection function provides a user with education information, such as English words, in a mode to dynamically display warning message for protecting a screen. CONSTITUTION: A method for learning language using an image display device having a screen protection function includes the steps of determining whether or not input signal is in a blocked fog signal condition, outputting warning message to be dynamically displayed to prevent damage of a screen due to the fog signal condition, outputting education information in the fog signal condition in a predetermined cycle in order, and combining the warning message and the on-screen signal of education information and displaying the combined signal on the screen.
