PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist separating device simplified in the structure wherein contamination of equipment or the like caused by a gas containing mist exhausted from the equipment or the like is efficiently prevented. SOLUTION: In the mist separating device introducing the gas containing the mist thereinto from an exhaust gas collector through a transfer pipe and separating the mist from the gas, a mist separator is constituted of a cylindrical vessel having a cover and a bottom plate as well as air passing holes in the side wall and the bottom plate, a fibrous-adsorbent filling body contained within the cylindrical vessel, and a mist-containing-gas introducing pipe of which the base part is connected to the transfer pipe and of which the tip is opened at the center part of the filling body. Then the above cylindrical vessel is fixed to the inside of the cover of the outer cylindrical vessel having an exhaust opening and a liquid-storing part.
