PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate a region where the therapeutic ultrasonic waves are applied and a region not applied in an ultrasonic therapy apparatus. SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic treatment apparatus, an image obtained by a diagnostic vibrator 31 which receives/transmits the diagnostic ultrasonic waves, is stored in an image memory 23 and displayed on a monitor 25. The therapeutic ultrasonic waves from a therapeutic vibrator 33 are focused on a treated region 39. As the position of a focal point of the therapeutic ultrasonic waves is stored corresponding to the image and the position of the focal point is superposed on the image to be displayed on the monitor 25, it is easy in the ultrasonic therapy apparatus to discriminate the region where the therapeutic ultrasonic waves are applied and the region not applied. |
