PURPOSE:To facilitate a finishing work of welded part at a laying site, by using only one motor to transfer a traveling frame having a grinder and simplifying the control. CONSTITUTION:This is provided with a fixed frame 10 installed at a specified position with respect to a rail A, a traveling frame 20 moving around the head Ab and a grinder 40 attached to the traveling frame 20. The inward rack 11 having the pitch circle radius Ri with the center of curvature in the curved face of the head and the outward rack 12 having the pitch circle radius Ro are installed in the fixed frame 10 in order to grind the curved face of the head Ab. And the inside pinion 21 and the outside pinion 22 engaging with the racks 11, 12 respectively are installed on the traveling frame 20. These pinions 21, 22 are connected to a motor 25 on the traveling frame 20 through a power transmission means in which the circumferential speeds vi, vo of respective pitch circles meet the following relation; vo/vi=Ro/Ri. |
