PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid application apparatus for molding a tubular member end which can apply a desired liquid in a minimum necessary amount to the tubular-member-end slide contact region in the mold surface of a mold for molding a tubular member end without staining around the mold and without wasting a lubricant. SOLUTION: This liquid application apparatus 10 comprises a main body 20, a gas supply means 30 for supplying a gas to the inlet of a gas supply route of the main body, and a liquid supply means 32 for supplying a liquid to the inlet of a liquid supply route of the main body. The main body 20 has gas jet nozzles 22 which are open at a plurality of positions apart from each other on the peripheral surface in the direction crossing the peripheral direction; liquid jet nozzles 24 which are open at between the gas jet nozzles in the crossing direction; and the inlet of a gas supply route 26 communicating to the gas jet nozzles and the inlet of a liquid supply route 28 communicating to the liquid jet nozzles, both arranged in the crossing direction at one side of the peripheral surface.
