<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the interactive program broadcast method where information desired to be known relating to a viewed program is acquired in an interactive way with a television receiver on which the program is displayed. SOLUTION: Plural programs (main channel, sub channel 1 and sub channel 2) and program relation information (selection area information) are sent via a broadcast medium as shown figure (a). When a receiver side detects is that a selection area 8a is designated based on the selection area information on a display image for the main channel as shown in figure (b), the sub channel 1 is received as shown in figure (c) based on the program relation information to display the information corresponding to the selection area 8a. In the case of detecting the designation of the selection area 8b, the reception channel is switched into the sub channel 2 as shown in figure (d) based on the program relating information to display the information corresponding to the selection area 8b.</p> |
