PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the illegal by burglar, etc., by reading an ID number and residual usable times data which are stored on a contactless IC data carrier, measuring the use time for every channel after power supply is turned on and making a television to be viewed in accordance with the set charge of each channel until residual usable times are used up. SOLUTION: A contactless IC card 200 stores data such as a card code, an ID number and residual degrees in an EE-PROM. When the card 200 is approached to a reader/writer 302 which consists of an antenna coil 304 of a charging device, a transmitting and receiving circuit 305 and an electromotive force oscillator circuit 307, data stored on the card 200 is read, and when the ID number is coincided and residual usable times exist, the power supply of a television receiver 100 is turned on and video of a desired channel can be seen. A timer 313 measures viewing time and the residual usable times of the card 200 is rewritten every prescribed use time in accordance with a charging system of a viewed channel. |
