<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity iron and an iron golf club set in which a sweet area and a centroid position at a head part can be controlled while avoiding the increase of a manufacturing cost and which has a head part easy to address. SOLUTION: This iron golf club is provided with the head portion 1 of a cavity structure. The head portion 1 is formed by joining a face-side part 8 including a face portion 6 and a back-side part 9 including a back portion 7. By making a surface on the side of a hollow portion 14 at the back portion 7 project toward the side of the face portion 6 selectively, the thickness of the back portion 7 is varied in the direction of the toe and heel of the head portion 1. In this iron golf club set, the thickness distribution of the back portion in the toe and heel direction of the head portion 1 of the cavity structure is differentiated by a long iron, a middle iron and a short iron.</p> |
