PURPOSE: An auto shutter guide apparatus for air conditioner is provided to prevent damage to the guide member and simplify the structure of the guide. CONSTITUTION: An auto shutter guide apparatus comprises upper shorter protrusions(122) protruded from upper side surfaces of a shutter(120); lower longer protrusions(124) protruded from lower side surfaces of the shutter; an integrated guide groove(111) where a wide guide groove(117) and a narrow guide groove are formed integrally, so as to simultaneously guide the upper shorter protrusions and lower longer protrusions; a guide stopper(118) for preventing the lower longer protrusions which move along the narrow guide groove from entering the wide guide groove; a roller slide member(170) having a protrusion(174) an operating shaft(176) of which is fixed to an end of an operating rod(180) which is fixed to the rear surface of the shutter, wherein the roller slide member further includes a sliding preventing protrusion(173) protruded from the front surface of the roller slide member; a rotating member where a roller(160) elastically contacting the sliding preventing protrusion is inserted; and a driving motor(140) which is press fit into the rotating member, and drives the roller slide member in a vertical direction.
