PURPOSE: A fiber softening agent containing encapsulated non-ionic or cationic vitamin to protect oxidation of vitamin in an atmosphere is provided which helps improve health of a user by a nutrient component contained therein when used in the process of rinsing laundry in fresh water after washing. CONSTITUTION: The fiber softening agent contains 0.05 to 10 parts by weight of encapsulated non-ionic or cationic vitamin, additionally one or two or more additives selected from the group consisting of an antimicrobial agent, antifungal agent, antiviral agent, antiperspirants, deodorizing agent, nutrient, skin protecting agent and moisturizing agent, based on the total weight of the composition. The microcapsule of vitamin has a diameter of about 0.5 to 1,000μm.
