PURPOSE: An apparatus for identifying a counterfeit bill using a magnet is provided to identify the counterfeit bill without using an additional power source such as a battery by using magnetic force of a magnet having an absorbing function. CONSTITUTION: An upper body(10) is formed by surrounding a protective cap(34) around a plurality of magnets(36). A plurality of insertion grooves is formed on an adhering plate(30). A paper money carriage unit(40) is formed in the inside of the upper body(10) and a lower body(20). The paper money carriage unit(40) is rotated and combined with the upper body(10) and the lower body(20) by a hinge(50). A handle(42) is formed at one side of the paper money carriage unit(40). A plurality of prickles(44) and a plurality of holes(46) are formed on a surface portion of the paper money carriage unit(40).
