PURPOSE: A shock absorber in an oil pressure type is provided to relieve an impact by changing an area of an oil passage according to stroke change of a piston rod when full rebounding. CONSTITUTION: An oil pressure type shock absorber comprises a stopper(20), a concave portion(12) and a rod guide(10). The stopper includes an outer installing surface(22) installed on an annular upper portion. The concave portion is formed to an inner surface of a lower portion to insert the stopper. The rod guide has the inner installing surface portion(14) in the lower portion of the concave portion facing the outer installing surface. Therefore, riding comfort is improved and oil leakage caused by a sudden damping is prevented.
