PURPOSE: A system for managing a container using the Internet is provided to easily distinguish the container circulating inside and outside of a country, to grasp a state of the container without a separate input work, and to automate a management work of container. CONSTITUTION: The system includes container recognition devices(10,10a) for recognizing a two dimensional barcode including container ID data by attaching to the container, a processing device(20) storing the state data of each container by receiving the barcode ID data and outputting a storing result, a central processing server storing the state data of the container inputted from the processing device(20) in real-time and processing and outputting the data information according to a request, and an input/output/display device(203) displaying the data from the central processing server and inputting a command or the data. The processing device includes a signal input part(201) for receiving the data inputted from the container recognition devices(10,10a), a main controller(202), an input/output part(203), a database(204) and a communication controller.
