PURPOSE: A data processing device and a data communication management method are provided to transfer data when a receiving processing unit is available, and transfer data through a local memory when the receiving processing unit is unavailable. CONSTITUTION: A router(15) manages a communication over a data bus(10). At least one transmitting processing unit(11) transmits data, and at least one receiving data processing unit(12) receives data. A local memory(16) temporarily stores data. The receiving data processing unit(12) delivers an availability signal to the router(15). The router(15) authorizes the transfer of the data transmitted to the local memory(16) or the receiving processing unit(12) by the transmitting processing unit(11).
