PURPOSE: A method of managing address book information in a communication terminal is provided to make a user store received telephone numbers or E-mail addresses as address book information, thereby minimizing the originating times of repeated calls and a possibility of wrongly transmitting E-mail. CONSTITUTION: When a present operation mode is set to an address book information registration mode(S10), a mobile communication terminal temporarily stores information selected by a user in a memory(S11). If the user inputs a 'registration' button(S12), the terminal stores the information in the memory(S13). A microcomputer confirms whether an automatic origination mode is set(S14). If so, the microcomputer transmits a message and information on the first mobile communication terminal to the second mobile communication terminal(S15). If a manual origination mode is set(S16), the microcomputer transmits the message and the information to the second mobile communication terminal(S17). |
