PURPOSE: An ink jet printer head cartridge is provided to simplify the generation and control of a proper negative pressure for stably forming a meniscus and increase the filling amount of pure ink for expanding the lifespan of the cartridge. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer head cartridge includes a hollow case(10) formed with an air communication hole(11) on a top surface, a partition plate(20) mounted at a lower part of the case for defining an inside space of the case into upper and lower parts and formed with a through hole of a predetermined diameter in the center, a negative pressure control element(30) having a supporting part(31) of a diameter smaller than the through hole of the partition plate at an upper end part, a head part(32) at a lower end part for opening or closing a discharge hole(12) formed in the center of a bottom surface of the case by lifting operation, and a connection element(33) for connecting the supporting part to the head part integrally, and an elastic supporting element(40) for elastically connecting the supporting part of the negative pressure control part to a circumferential part of the through hole for the lifting operation of the negative pressure control element.
