PURPOSE: A rolling work hardening apparatus for wire rod is provided which not only improves surface roughness and hardness of the wire rod, but also continuously hardens the wire rod by rolling the surface of the wire rod. CONSTITUTION: In a rolling work hardening apparatus for wire rod (W) which processes the surface of the wire rod, the rolling work hardening apparatus for the wire rod comprises a hollow rotation shaft(20) which is rotationally arranged in a housing(10), and in which a hollow part(23) is axially formed so that the wire rod (W) passes through the hollow part(23) by being penetrated into the hollow part(23); a rotation drum(30) which is installed at one end part of the hollow rotation shaft(20) in such a manner that the rotation drum(30) is integrally rotated, and one side of which is opened; first and second blocks(40,50) which are correspondingly installed inside the rotation drum(30); a pair of working rolls(61a,61b) which are idly arranged at the first block(40), and into which the wire rod (W) is interposed; a rolling dies(70) which is rotationally arranged at the second block(50) to roll the surface of the wire rod (W) that is penetrated into between the pair of working rolls(61a,61b) in such a manner that direction of a rotation shaft(71) is inclined in a certain angle of degrees to give transfer force to the wire rod (W) rolled; a driving motor(80) for rotating the rolling dies(70); and a power supply means(100) that is installed on the hollow rotation shaft(20) to supply a power source to the driving motor(80).
