PURPOSE: A device for testing an alpine break is provided to reduce expenses for the testing, and easily test the alpine break by automatically controlling tow power during the test. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing an alpine break mounted at a test car connected to a tow car by a tow rope. A base(31) is mounted at the front bumper of the test car. A buffer(32) is installed on the base. A load cell(33) is installed on the buffer to be connected to the tow rope. An ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(34) is connected to the load cell for receiving a value measured at the load cell. A computer(35) is connected to the ECU for inputting tow power required for a test to the ECU. An actuator(40) is controlled by the ECU, being connected to the ECU, and is installed at a break pedal(36) of the test car.
