PREPARATION METHOD OF ANTIMONY PENTOXIDE NANO POWDER

PURPOSE: A preparation method of antimony pentoxide nano powder is provided to produce ultra fine particles of antimony pentoxide by adding distilled water and hydrogen peroxide to antimony trioxide and then controlling the reaction temperature and the reaction time. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of antimony pentoxide nano powder includes a dissolution process of adding 2.5 to 3 moles of distilled water to 1 mole of antimony pentoxide in a reactor and mixing it in a constant rotating speed by a stirrer to produce suspensions of antimony trioxide; an exothermic process of adding 2 to 3 moles of hydrogen peroxide to 1 mole of antimony trioxide in the suspensions produced in the dissolution process and reacting it at the temperature of 40 to 70 deg.C for 1-2 hours to produce suspensions of antimony pentoxide; an aging process of cooling the suspensions of antimony pentoxide produced in the exothermic process for at least 1.5-2 hours by self-refluxing with maintaining 2 to 3 atm in the reactor to age the antimony pentoxide; a powder making process of micronizing the antimony pentoxide by charging the antimony pentoxide produced in the aging process into a dryer, then adding a stabilizer, and spraying it under the pressure of 0.5 to 0.7 kg/cm2 with controlling viscosity.
