PURPOSE: A dust filter for a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve cleaning efficiency by removing small foreign matters stuck on the surface of a dust filter. CONSTITUTION: A dust filter for a vacuum cleaner comprises an assembling piece(25) having many assembling recesses(25a) connected with an assembling portion and a discharge guide hole(25b) identical to a discharge hole, an outer case(21) extending from the bottom face of the assembling piece and having many filtering holes(24a) formed on a cylindrical wall face(24) and a connecting portion(21a) in the lower end, a lower case(23) having an assembling unit(23a) fixed with a fixing portion, and filter bodies(22) received in the outer case.
