APPARATUS FOR COMPENSATING INNER NEGATIVE PRESSURE OF SUBMERGED ENTRY NOZZLE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for compensating inner negative pressure of submerged entry nozzle is provided to check negative pressure inside the submerged entry nozzle in the process of injecting molten steel from tundish to mold during continuous casting and automatically control supply of the amount of argon according to extent of the pressure. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for compensating inner negative pressure of submerged entry nozzle comprises a supply tank(40) which is connected to the submerged entry nozzle(30) by a connection pipe(38), and in which argon and fluid (L) are filled; a pressure control tank(60) connected to the supply tank(40) by a connection pipe(55) and installed adjacently to the supply tank(40); a flow control valve(42) fixed onto the connection pipe(38) and electrically connected to a PLC(90) that is a control part; a holding tank(80) in which argon is filled, and which is connected onto the connection pipe(38) by a supply pipe(82) adjacently to the supply tank(40) that is in rear of the flow control valve(42); an automatic switching valve(84) installed on the supply pipe(82) and switching controlled by the PLC(90); a level sensing rod(44) extended downward to a certain length from the upper part of the supply tank(40) and electrically connected to the PLC(90); first to fourth detection disks(64a to 64d) which are arranged on a fixed rod(62) with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance and electrically connected to the PLC(90), wherein the fixed rod(62) is extended to a certain length from the upper part of the pressure control tank(60); and a venting pipe(66) arranged on the upper part of the pressure control tank(60) so that the inside of the pressure control tank(60) is connected to the outside thereof.
