PURPOSE: A constant-power brushless DC motor is provided to stabilize an output when a load is changed. CONSTITUTION: A direct current power supply(102) converts an alternating current voltage into a direct current voltage. A power supply switch(104) turns on/off a power semiconductor device according to a drive signal of a driver(106) and provides a power supply of the direct current power supply(102) to a stator winding of a BLDC motor(120). An input section(108) provides a command signal for ordering a rotating speed of an electric motor. A PWM controller(114) generates a PWM signal to control the rotating speed of the electric motor according to a command value of the input section(108) and a control signal of a speed controller(112). The speed controller(112) receives a control encoder signal from the BLDC motor(120) and provides a speed control signal to the PWM controller(114). A polar controller(110) provides a photo sensor signal from the BLDC motor(120) to a driver(106). The driver(106) receives the photo sensor signal of the polar controller(110) and the PWM signal of the PWM controller(114) and provides a drive signal to control the power supply switch(104).
