PURPOSE: Mounting structure of a sprocket for improvement of response property of a CVVT(Continued Variable Valve Timing) device is provided to improve response property in case of low-speed revolution, and to make lubrication smoothly performed in case of strong tension, in an engine equipped with the CVVT device. CONSTITUTION: A suction-exhaust sprocket(100) and a CVVT are formed to the rear side of a camshaft(10). An advance oil passage(11) and a withdrawal oil passage(12) are formed to the camshaft, to operate the CVVT device. In the mounting structure of the sprocket for improvement of response property of the CVVT device, a needle bearing(110) is formed on a side of the inner periphery of the sprocket supported to an end of the camshaft, and the camshaft and the sprocket perform rolling motions. Accordingly, response property of the CVVT device is improved and smooth lubrication is performed.
