PURPOSE: An oil cleaner is provided to prevent an engine from being damaged by feeding oil through a first element in blocking a second element, and to protect the engine by outputting a warning signal for element replacement in blocking the second element. CONSTITUTION: An oil cleaner is composed of a housing(2); an oil inlet(3) formed around the housing; an oil outlet(5) formed in the housing; first and second elements(6,7) spaced from each other and installed in the housing; a bypass pipe(10) connecting a space between first and second elements and a central passage(9) for the oil outlet; and a bypass valve(11) installed in the bypass pipe to open the bypass pipe by applying hydraulic pressure in blocking the second element. Damage of an engine is prevented with supplying oil through the first element by installing first and second elements circumferentially in blocking the second element.
