WATER-DISPERSIBLE POLYURETHANE-COLLOIDAL SILICA NANOCOMPOSITES AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: The water-dispersible polyurethane-colloidal silica nanocomposites are provided, which do not deteriorate the mechanical physical property and transparency when the functional additives are input. Also, a preparation method of the water-dispersible polyurethane-colloidal silica nanocomposites by an in-situ process is provided. CONSTITUTION: The water-dispersible polyurethane-colloidal silica nanocomposites comprise 60-90wt.% of polyurethane prepolymer covalent bonded with an anion group in main branch and 1-40wt.% of metal-modified colloidal silica. The preparation method is characterized by the in-situ process. The in-situ process performs (a) a step(S11) for forming prepolymer with an anion group covalent bonded into a backbone; (b) a step(S14) for adding to a colloidal silica the prepolymer; (c) a step(S12) for dispersing the prepolymer in water; and (d) a step(S13) for adding a chain extender to polymerize in a same process.
