PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for supplying molten steel during continuous casting are provided to seek prevention of channeling and stabilization of flow inside mold by uniformly flowing molten steel inside tundish into the mold via submerged nozzle during continuous casting. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for supplying molten steel during continuous casting comprises a stabilization guiding container(150) which is extended downward from the back of the bottom of tundish(20), and in which a sealed space is formed; a submerged nozzle(60') which is downward extended into a mold(30) by penetrating the bottom surface of the stabilization guiding container(150), and at a part of which a sliding gate(50') is installed; first and second connection holes(120,140) which are adjacently installed to the central part and the end part of one side of the tundish(20) to be connected to the stabilization guiding container(150); and first and second stopper rods(110,130) which are installed right above the first and second connection holes(120,140) and fixed in such a way that the first and second stopper rods(110,130) can be opened and closed, wherein the second connection hole(140) is projected to a certain elevation from the bottom surface of the tundish(20).
