PURPOSE: A system and a method for comparing a document based on the Internet are provided to detect the plagiarism of submitted report data by analyzing the submitted report data, searching the analyzed contents from a database and comparing the searched data with the submitted report data. CONSTITUTION: A data database(34) comprises the data obtained from the Internet by searching for the same or similar theme of a report, the reports written by other testee within the same or other group, and its own data. A plagiarism judgment server(30) is linked with the data database(34) and comprises a report analyzing part(31) receiving the report data from the first client(10) and analyzing the report data, a database management part(32) performing various kinds of works with the data database(34), and a result data generating part(33) generating the result data by comparing the report data with the searched data and judging the plagiarism of the report data.
