METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING VOLUME OF COMBUSTION GAS IN HOT STOVE ACCORDING TO AIR VOLUME AND CONSTITUENTS OF BLAST FURNACE GAS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus are provided to optimize combustion of gas and control of furnace temperature and improve quality of hot metal by automatically controlling volume of combustion gas according to air volume and constituents of blast furnace gas in a blast furnace hot stove of iron works. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for automatically controlling volume of combustion gas in hot stove according to air volume and constituents of blast furnace gas comprises a blowing part(90) for grasping the thermal energy storage state of the hot stove by measuring the blowing volume of hot blast for a blast furnace(10) and measuring temperature of the hot blast blown; a gas analysis part(70) comprising an analyzer(71) for analyzing blast furnace gas and a coke oven gas proportion control device(50); a combustion part(40) comprising a mixed gas flow rate control valve(44) for controlling volume of combustion gas of the hot stove(80), an air flow rate control valve(63) for automatically controlling volume of air according to gas volume, and detecting devices(43,62) for measuring gas flow rate and air flow rate at determined points; and a control part(100) for controlling the volume values of combustion gas in a gas volume control unit after obtaining volume of combustion gas actually required in the hot stove(80) by receiving current air volume data from the blowing part(90), thereby obtaining gas caloric value, and controlling increase and decrease of the gas volume by grasping the thermal energy storage state of the concerned hot blast using the mean value of temperature measured at the outlet of combustion chamber of the hot stove(80) when blowing hot blast into a relevant furnace.
