COILING APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING EDGE WAVE OF STRIP

PURPOSE: A coiling apparatus for strip caster is provided to suppress generation of edge wave at the edge of a strip. CONSTITUTION: In a coiling apparatus(1) for coiling strip manufactured through twin roll strip casting operation by passing the strip through discharge line, the coiling apparatus for preventing edge wave of the strip comprises an apparatus main body(10); multistage driving shafts(30,40) which are connected to multistage piston means(20) that are installed inside the apparatus main body(10) and extendedly projected into the side direction of the apparatus main body(10); a multistage segment member which is longitudinally connected to the driving shafts(30,40) in such a way that front and rear sides of the segment member is slantly contracted and expanded; and a drum member(60) which is adhered to the driving shafts(30,40) in front of the apparatus main body(10) and rotated by a driving means(12) installed inside the apparatus main body(10) to drive the driving shafts(30,40).
