PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming inclined plane for metal plates is provided to prevent bending of metal plate that is wound up on a winding roll by forming the inclined plane on the cutting surface of the metal plate that is cut to a certain length. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for forming the inclined plane for metal plates comprises a transfer unit on the upper surface of which a metal plate is rested to be transferred; and a cutter(20) which is installed at one side of the transfer unit to cut the metal plate to a certain length and form a fluent inclined plane on the cutting surface of the metal plate in the state that the metal plate is fixed into the cutter(20) using a forming means(30) comprising the cutting blade(36), wherein the forming means(30) comprises a cutting blade(36) that is slantly installed on the cutting surface of the metal plate inside a housing(22) of the cutter(20) correspondingly to an inclined angle the inclined plane, piston rods(38) one end of which is rotationally hinged to one side of the cutting blade(36) so that the piston rods(38) are projected to the outer side of the cutter(20), pneumatic cylinders(40) into the inner part of which the piston rods(38) are movably inserted, and one end part of which rotationally hinged to one side of the housing(22) of the cutter(20); and guide holes(26) which are slantly cut correspondingly to the cutting blade(36) on one surface of the housing(22) of the cutter(20) to guide the piston rods(38) and cutting blade(36) that are ascended or descended from the pneumatic cylinders(40), a clamping means(50) is installed at the inner side of the cutter(20) to fix the metal plate transferred and comprises pneumatic cylinder(52), piston rod(54), pressing member(56) and piezo-electric sensor(58), and a checker(60) is installed at one side of the housing(22) of the cutter(20) to measure length of the metal plate cut to a certain length and comprises first link(62), second link(68) and torsion spring.
