PURPOSE: An oil pump is provided to reduce frictional loss at low temperature and to improve pumping efficiency at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: An oil pump includes an auxiliary housing(6) formed between a housing(2) and a pump cover(3) with width and material identical with an inside rotor(4) and an outside rotor(5); fixing bolts(7) coupling the housing, the auxiliary housing and the pump cover; and a compensating member(8) protrusively formed with material identical with the housing on the pump cover toward the rotors to fill up a space formed by the auxiliary housing. The housing, the pump cover and the compensating member are made of aluminum and the rotors and the auxiliary housing are made of steel to offset thermal expansion so as to keep a gap of the assembled rotors constant.
