ADVANCED LUMINOMETER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An advanced luminometer and a method of controlling the same are provided to miniaturize and localize parts of a large volume in existing luminometers. CONSTITUTION: The luminometer comprises a temperature sensor(24) for sensing a temperature affected by a microbial activity and a heat control unit(25) for controlling the temperature and measuring the same accurately; a RAM(20) for storing measured data even if a power is disconnected; a V-F conversion unit(29) for obtaining a frequency in proportion to a quantity of light emitted by microbes; a key pad unit(31) for inputting a value required for system operation and setting an environmental variable; and a CPLD(22) for measuring an input frequency and generating a signal required for a SRAM interface.
