PURPOSE: An intake and exhaust system for a vehicle is provided to improve fuel efficiency by controlling an engine accurately and recirculating exhaust gas optimally with regulating the intake amount according to combustion condition, and to reduce exhaust gas by supplying mixed gas to an engine cylinder with mixing gas evenly. CONSTITUTION: An intake and exhaust system comprises an air tank(101) compressing, storing and supplying external air; an exhaust gas recirculation unit(110) connected to an exhaust manifold(108) of an engine cylinder head(107) to receive exhaust gas partially; a mixer(102) receiving and mixing compressed air and exhaust gas from the air tank and the exhaust gas recirculation unit; a first injector regulating the injection amount according to travel information and supplying compressed air to the mixer; a delivery pipe receiving mixed gas from the mixer; second injectors injecting mixed gas from the delivery pipe through cylinder ports; and a pressure regulating valve installed in the output end of the mixer to regulate pressure of mixed gas evenly. The intake and exhaust system is controlled accurately corresponding to travel condition or exhaust gas recirculation.
