PURPOSE: A method for processing the update of unique data is provided to use an index table having an ID and location information of the unique data for updating received unique data regardless of sequence, so as to maximize the performance of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives unique data irrespective of sequence through a broadcasting receiving part(S301). A microprocessor searches an ID of the received unique data in an index table of a memory unit(S302). The microprocessor checks whether an ID of the unique data exists in the index table(S303). If so, the microprocessor moves to a data table in the memory unit corresponding to location information of the unique data(S304). The microprocessor updates information of the data table to information of the unique data(S305). If an ID of the unique data does not exist in the index table, the microprocessor allocates a new address, or location in the data table to the unique data(S306). The microprocessor stores a unique ID and information of the unique data received to the allocated new address(S307). And the microprocessor regenerates the index table including the ID of the unique data and the location information on the data table(S308).
